Defence Lawyer
- Provide advice on obtaining technical data from the prosecution or mobile network operators
- Undertake independent critical reviews of case files and prosecution evidence and offer realistic alternative scenarios
- Carry out Cell Coverage or Location Surveys to establish the extent of the area that the mobile telephone may be located and the likelihood of being in any one location
- Carry out Call Data Analysis or Cell-Site Analysis to confirm or challenge telephone attributions, locations or movements of a mobile user
- Produce a technical report and graphics to communicate the evidence clearly
- Attend case conferences to advise on the prosecution weaknesses and defence strengths
- Listen to prosecution evidence in court and advise on suitable questions for cross-examination
- Provide a clear presentation package for the evidence in court
