I spent eighteen years in the mobile telecommunications industry, including ten years at Vodafone responsible for developing and launching new products such as bundled tariffs and prepay.

I moved into forensic investigation and cell-site analysis in 2006. As an Expert Witness, I have acted for both prosecution and defence in over sixty major criminal cases. This has involved giving evidence in Crown Courts across the country, and in many cases at the Central Criminal Court.

I spent the first 15 years of my career in the computer industry starting as a programmer and rising through the role of a systems analyst to that of consultant designer. During that time I designed and developed a number of applications including a Home Office Award winning Police Administration system for Leicestershire Police.

From 1992 I held a number of management roles at a senior level within Vodafone Plc, during which I developed an in-depth knowledge of the radio and billing aspects of mobile telephony.

I represented Vodafone on a number of GSM and ETSI committees and working parties responsible for designing GSM and 3G. These committees were involved in bringing out new functionality and features related to the performance and limitations of the telecommunications cellular networks.
